Sinopsis:

Kisah ini tentang cerita polisi menakutkan dan kejam dengan dokter yang baik hati. Mereka bertemu dan saling mendukung satu sama lain. Keduanya melewati masa-masa sulit bersama, yang satu membunuh dan lainnya menyembuhkan.

Jiang Yue Lou (Mao Zi Jun) adalah kepala polisi di kantor Jingcheng. Dia terlihat netral, tak buruk maupun juga tidak terlihat baik. Dia banyak ditakuti oleh para kriminal termasuk penyelundup barang terlarang.

Suatu ketika saat Jiang Yue Lou menyelidiki barang terlarang opium di Hong Kong, Dia bertermu dengan Chen Yu Zhi (Ian Yi).

Chen Yu Zhi ini adalah seorang dokter, dengan cepat mereka menjadi dekat dan Dia tahu kalau Jiang Yue Lou mengalami depresi.

Namun Jiang Yue Lou menolak untuk mendapatkan perawatan. Seiring waktu, Dia akhirnya mau membuka diri dengan Chen Yu Zhi dan keduanya pun berakhir menjadi teman dekat.

Di sisi lain para penjahat dunia bawah mulai bermunculan dan suasana menjadi mencekam. Jiang Yue Lou harus terlihat dengan taipan Zhao Jing Ming, gangster Zhou Huo, dan panglima perang Zhan Jun Bai (Chen Yu Cheng).

Mereka bahkan beberapa kali merencanakan pembunuhan terhadap Jiang Yue Lou. Di waktu bersamaan, rahasia masa lalunya juga mulai terbongkar.
